This CSL-DD universal mount can be utilized in any cockpit as long as it lines up with the four mounting locations. It was initially designed to allow the CSL-DD to mount to the Playseat Challenge with the base plate in the middle position. Drilling four holes are required for Playseat Challenge mounting. 
 
The main issue this mount solves is correctly securing it to the Playseat baseplate middle location and, most importantly, having the right seating position. Other solutions out in the market provide greater stability but still use the farthest mounting base plate location, and what that does is change your seating recline position and, as a result, likely not have a correct driving position unless you are on the taller side. In our opinion, a proper seating position outweighs a firmer, stable base.
